The Ardtornish Garden book available now!

The Ardtornish Garden by Faith Raven includes a short history of the garden, with photographs of the people who have owned it and of the people who have worked in it. It describes the changing colours of the seasons in the garden and how the work of the gardener has to fit in with the difficulties of the climate. Maps help to guide visitors around a tour to see some of the best view points and the most interesting plantings. The book ends with an optimistic view of how the care of the garden may continue and also lists , with grid references, some of the trees and shrubs, native and exotic. There is a separate list of a selection of the rhododendrons grown, because the Ardtornish Garden is known for the wide variety of rhododendrons in flower from February till September.
