Here at Ardtornish Estate, we welcome everyone and hope that they are able fully to enjoy the estate and its facilities. We have a development programme in place to ensure universal access to as much of the estate as possible.

Victorian Apartment Access

Our Garden Flat in Ardtornish House has been fully adapted to allow access for guests with mobility difficulties. It’s on the ground floor, all on one level, and there are no steps to negotiate.  The bathroom in the apartment has been re-configured to provide an accessible shower.

Cosy Cottage Access

Rose Cottage and Castle Cottage are suitable for guests with limited mobility.  The nature of the buildings mean that the corridors would be too narrow to navigate in a wheelchair.  Both of these cottages have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms with accessible showers.

Information Centre Access

Our information centre has ramp access, however the shop area would be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.

Ardtornish Gardens

The Garden has pathways suitable for use in a wheelchair and there are benches and seats around the grounds at viewpoint areas.

Hearing and Guide Dogs

We are happy to welcome hearing and guide dogs in Apartments and Cottages that welcome pets.
