An amazing variety of wildlife

Ardtornish teems with wildlife furred, finned and feathered. Rahoy Nature Reserve is a part of Ardtornish Estate run by the Scottish Wildlife Trust and guided walks with Steve Hardy the local SWT manager, are a regular event. Call in to see us at the Visitor Centre for details.

The BBC's nature unit describes the Morvern Peninsula as 'the best kept secret in Scotland, Morvern is a must for nature lovers seeking solitude and rare species of wildlife'. Have a look at the BBC's Nature's Calendar page for information on this stunning location for nature watching with dramatic scenery, tranquil coastlines, and unspoilt habitats.

Several boats from Mull offer the opportunity to look for whales and dolphins. The Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust is a good place for recommendations.
