A great day out on Mull
It is easy to get to Mull from Ardtornish. The car ferry to Fishnish in Mull goes from the pier in Lochaline. The crossing takes 15 minutes and there are many trips every day. The current Mull ferry timetable is at this link.
There is also a passenger ferry service to Tobermory from Drimnin (ten miles along the coast from Ardtornish) on Mondays and Fridays. It is best to book this the day before you want to travel on 01972 500208. The Drimnin ferry timetable is at this link.
Balamory (Tobermory) is a huge draw for small children but Tobermory has lots to offer for everyone with good food, the Distillery and Museum.
