A rare treat for shooters
We offer woodcock shooting over pointers from the end of November through to the end of January. We let by the week and generally have three weeks available. Most of the shooting is in native woodland and due to the topography a reasonable level of fitness is required. This is a thrilling and challenging sporting experience.
We also have several ponds on the Estate which are fed from the beginning of August. We offer this to our sporting tenants by the flight. This can be booked in advance or during your stay, subject to availability.
Accommodation in the magnificent South Wing of Ardtornish House is best suited to shooting parties but other self-catering properties are also available. We would be pleased to arrange for fully serviced accommodation with catering and cleaning on request. We do not let our woodcock shooting without accommodation.
