A great restaurant on our doorstep
The Whitehouse Restaurant just down the road in Lochaline is a well established foodie destination in Scotland and a must for all visitors to Ardtornish. It features in many national guide books including The Michelin Guide and is a favourite of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. In 2009 we are hoping to work with The Whitehouse to offer our visitors the opportunity to buy some of the delicious produce that grows, swims or grazes locally.
Lochaline's other excellent food offer is the snack bar by the ferry pier. An outdoor lunch of venison burger or a slice of black pudding in a bap takes a lot of beating as one looks across the Sound of Mull.
Mull Community Butchers are famous for their locally sourced and aged beef.
