Achranich, formerly the factor's house, a spacious Victorian property, lies close to the working centre of the estate. LAST WINTER ACHRANICH HAD A MAKE-OVER. THE FIRST FLOOR WAS ENTIRELY REFURBISHED WITH MUCH NEW FURNITURE AND A NEW CARPET THROUGHOUT.
Achranich contains a sitting room, dining room, large kitchen, bathroom and shower room, each with WC and separate WC downstairs. Five bedrooms sleep 12 (two rooms with 3 beds and three rooms with 2 beds, including two double beds.) Heating is by "Total Control" electric central heating and open coal fires.
The Annex (which can only be rented in conjunction with the Achranich main building) has a further 3 bedrooms to sleep 7/8. One room with a double and single bed, one room with three single beds and one room with twin beds. The annex also has a bathroom with WC. The annex becomes part of Achranich by opening an adjoining door.
